Como-Udinese 4-1: The Larians dominate and move away from the relegation zone, Udinese crushed and in crisis

Como secures a decisive 4-1 victory over Udinese in the 21st round of Serie A, climbing to 13th place and temporarily escaping the dangerous zones of the table. It was a nightmare evening for the Friulians, now in 10th place, who suffer their second loss of the season by more than three goals and end the match with ten men.

First half: Fast start for the Larians

Fabregas’ team starts with great intensity: after only 6 minutes, Diao finishes a fast break, assisted by Strefezza, for the 1-0. Udinese struggles to respond, with Lovric inaccurate and a defense in great difficulty. After several attempts, the much-deserved second goal arrives at the 44th minute: from a corner by Da Cunha, Dossena rises and causes confusion, and Strefezza is quickest to finish in the net for 2-0.

Second half: Como ruthless, Udinese down to ten

In the second half, Payero tries to spark some hope with a great goal at the 50th minute, but it’s short-lived. Fadera, coming off the bench, causes an own goal by Bijol at the 78th minute, and then Solet gets a red card for a second yellow. In a counterattack, Nico Paz seals the game with a goal at the 89th minute for 4-1.
